Aqua Protego’s 200ppm HOCl face and skin cleanser is an extra-strength antibacterial face spray formulated for oily, acne-prone and problem skin. At four times the concentration of the 50ppm face mist toner, it delivers targeted bacterial action against C. acnes — without the dryness or irritation of alcohol, benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid.

As a daily cleanser: After your regular face wash, spray 2–3 times across your face from 15–20cm. Allow to air-dry or pat gently with a clean cloth. Do not rinse. Follow with moisturiser. Use morning and evening as your antibacterial toner step.
As a targeted spot treatment: Spray directly onto the blemish as needed — even over makeup or other skincare. The 200ppm HOCl penetrates rapidly and begins acting on contact. No cotton pad needed. The fine mist format allows precise targeting without over-applying to surrounding skin.
After exercise: Spray immediately post-workout to cleanse sweat, oil, and bacteria from skin before they contribute to breakouts. The 200ppm concentration is particularly effective at this post-exercise window when pores are open, and skin is most vulnerable to bacterial colonisation.
Before bed: Apply as the final step of your evening routine to reset bacterial levels on the skin surface overnight. HOCl’s short half-life means it acts within minutes and then converts to harmless salt and water — no chemical residue on skin or pillowcase.
On body acne: The 100ml spray format is also suitable for back, chest and shoulder acne. Spray onto affected areas after showering. Allow to air-dry. The 200ppm concentration is effective against the bacterial strains that cause body acne, without staining fabric if any overspray occurs.
